“Children are the reward of life.” - Congolese Proverb

Making the transformation from being a child to living life as an adult is a difficult time in a young person’s life. But when an adolescent is faced with emotional or behavioral health issues, an already difficult phase can seem unbearable.

Friends Hospital’s Adolescent Program provides specialized care for young people, ages 13 to 18, who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.  Our highly trained staff will work with the adolescent, their family and support system to identify these problems and create solutions to stabilize and improve their minds and bodies. Through individual, family and group therapies, we help adolescents and their supports to gain strength to return to a more stable life.
